 Dog Owners – Please Keep Your Dogs on Leads Where Appropriate

We have seen an increase in dog attacks recently, we are reminding all dog owners to keep their dogs on a lead in designated areas and whenever there is a risk to other people, animals, or wildlife.

Allowing dogs to roam freely can lead to:

Please ensure your dog: ✅ Is kept on a lead where required by local signage or Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs).
✅ Is under control at all times.
✅ Has a collar and ID tag with current contact details.
✅ Is recalled immediately when necessary.

Dog owners may be held responsible if their dog causes injury, distress, or damage whilst off lead.
